You need the basic tools, electric drill, chop saw, grinder, cutting
torch and welder.

It take about 100 hours depending of your welding ability and
organization.

It take about 150 hours depending of your welding ability and time

Does a 6 feet
tall man fit inside the Model SVET46K?
Yes, My friend is 6 feet 4", weight 220 pounds and
drive the machine without any problem.
Is it better
to use 13 HP gas engine or 10HP diesel engine for the model SVET46K?
Both will do the job but the 10 HP
diesel engine give more weight, it is better on fuel and has
the same torque at much lower RPM than the gas engine and make the machine
sound
more like industrial mini skid steer loader.
Is it better
to use 8 HP gas engine or 6.5HP diesel engine for the model GL47K?
Both will do the job but the 6.5 HP
diesel engine give more weight, it is better on fuel and has
about
the same torque at much lower RPM than the gas engine and again it make the
machine sound
more like an industrial mini skid steer loader.
Can we use a
set of track & bigger tires on the skid steer Model SVET46K?
Yes you can, there is enough space between the
wheel and the frame for a set of track but
you can also allowed more room while you are building the machine, you only
need
to use longer axles shafts.
What
method of welding and what size of welding rod is required?
You can used 1/8" 7018 welding rods with stick welder to get a good
strength or you can use a
MIG welding machine that can welds up to 3/8" plates thick.
How narrow is the mini skid steer Model SVET46K?
It is 42" wide but can be narrow to 40"- 41" wide if you are not
planning to used the steel track.
How narrow is the mini skid steer Model GL47K?
It is 37" wide but can be narrow to 35" wide if you are not planning
to used the steel track.
Does
the drive chains are adjustable?
Yes, they are adjustable, only lift one side of the machine until
both wheels front and back does
not have any contact with the ground then adjusted both chains at the same
time.
How many hydraulic motors do you used in the hydrostatic drive?
To keep the
cost down, I used 2 Hydraulic motors, it is all wheel drive and turn on a
dime.
How much does it cost to built
the Mini Skid Steer Loader Model GL47K?
It cost me about $2900 US
including the laser kit that of course, I did not had to pay the full price

Can I buy the laser metal
starting kit without the metal bushing?
Yes, you can make the metal bushings yourself and it is not difficult at
all.
In the plan it shows you how to make them the easy way & you wont need a
lathe.
What
is the most time consuming when building the mini skid steer?
I would say making the critical parts are the most time consuming.
Is the
plan always included with the laser kit?
Yes, The plan & technical support are always included with the laser kit.
What
can I expected to see in the plan?
I made the plan look more like a book than a blue print, it is easier to
read and
understand & customers do not need an engineering background.
It includes the Bill of Material, List of steel, 2D & 3D drawings,
all part numbers for the laser kit & step by step assembly instructions.
Can I
use bigger engine for the skid steer loader?
Yes, you can use a bigger engine depending of what brand engine you
want uses
but you only require a 13 HP, It is more compact and more fuel efficient.
Can I
buy the laser parts separately if I ever need to replace them?
Yes, you can buy any laser parts if you ever need to replaced them.
What
are the advantages of using the laser starting kit over the plan?
With the laser metal starting kit, it is faster and much easier to built the
backhoe
and it looks like a professional did the job, because all critical plates
are already
laser cut and the machining is minimize to minimum with the laser starting
kit.
It will cut the
building time by more than half the time. Your machine
will have higher resale value with the kit & you will be proud of yourself.

Yes, the model 3PH-WP500 and the Model SS450 can be used on the mini skid
steer
